E-Commerce Analysis Report
Introduction
As Data Analyst at X, You got mission to present an overview of company's business and operations up to September 2018. X, a US-based e-commerce company incorporated in Brazil, has been on a remarkable journey. In this presentation, we will explore our business landscape, assess customer satisfaction, and provide actionable recommendations for areas of improvement. Our goal is to gain deeper insights into the operations, identify areas where we can enhance company's performance, and ensure continued growth and success.

1.Overview
There are about 100k brazilians having experience shopping on E-commerce website and other shopping platforms .
- With about 100,000 orders has been done by brazilians, there are 135,000 purchased products and 16 mil Brazilian real is total revenue in 3 years of operation.
- Service of E-commerce has rated at 4.07 points and customer has commented over 42k times.
About Geographical Location:
- Sao Paulo (SP) vs Rio de Janeiro (RJ) are the best active state with the highest of purchasing product. With the supporting of favorable geographical area and the highest population density in Brazil, 16k and 7k numbers of products has been purchasing by these citizens.
- By contrast, Roraima (RR), Amapá (AP), Acre (AC) has the disadvantages of transportation limit, geographical area undevelopement of business, they contribute badly to total orders of Brazil.

Regarding to Product: Overall, we can give a commment is that family stuffs are favorable items of Bazilians. With the development of economics, Brazilians also want to improve their life experience with useful home furniture and beauty items.
Relating to the trending purchase of Brazilians, Overall, we can see that E-commerce has experience a sustainable development of total order time by time. Especially , November of 2017, There was a dramatical increasing of ordering, one of explanation for this events is the Proclamation of the Republic of Brazil. I believe that E-commerce company had took advantage of this event to promote the business.
2. Sale and Product
Although family furniture category items as bed_bad_table accounts for the largest number of purchased products, stuffs relating beauty products and luxury items (watches) has the best contribute to total revenue of E-commerce company.
With the largest of purchasing area as Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais , we can also understand that they are also on top of revenue contribute to company.
With Products, the family and sporty items are always on top picking of citizens. Beside that, There are other items becomming popular in different months:
- watches_gifts becomes hot items in May, June, July where some occasions has been happened as Mother day, Fathers's Day, Valentine Day of Brazil.
- Children's day and Christmast day are the important day for retail companies in Brazil, Toys items are hot items in these occasions.
- Computer Accessories items are purchased much on Jan, Feb, March. These months are time of the biggest sale off technology items.
3.Orders
E-commerce company has done a great job in delievery to customer with 96% order deliveried on time
- The majority of late delivery was on holiday occasions as (National day, Proclamation of the Republic of Brazil, Carnival)
- Beside that, The disadvantages of geographical location of Roraima (RR), Amapá (AP), Acre (AC) is the reason that time of delievery to these location is the longest one.
4.Transaction
With development of economic and technology, credit card is the first choice in selection of payment with about 80k orders used credit card.
- The time-saving of credit card is the reason make it become the most popular one.
- Secondly, Credit card is also linked with the installment of banks and finance services. The procedure to start an installment is easy and fast.
In over 5k of voucher applied to orders, the security category items accounts for over a half of total. I believe that because of their the high cost and not-easy approaching, the retailers has provided the bunch of vouchers to promote of purchasing.
5.Reviews
As we can see that 5-star reviews made up the majority of total reviews.

Roraima (RR) State , Maranhao (MA), Alagoas (AL) are locations where have the lowest Average Reviews Score with 50% comment. It can be understood that the citizen was angry because of late delivery, But because of its Geographical location.
6. Conclusion & Recommendation
In Last 7 days, E-commerce website has experienced some significant numbers as:
- Family and sporty items are the most purchasing items. There are also other trending product following by different months.
- Company did a great job in delievery service, however it's hard to delievery some remote states limiting by geographical location.
- Credit card is the most popular finance service.
- Company service received a great review from customer with majority of 5-star.
🚩 So, I believe that this E-commerce should:
- Runing creative seasonal marketing campaigns with different items.
- Doing the suggestion marketing services to promote the business.
- With remote areas, to promote the services and quality, we should create specific campaigns as giving more vouchers and discounts to these areas to improve their experience.
- Keep continuing coperating with local business as bank and finance services to upgrade the experience services of customers.
